It’s Sunday on Labor Day weekend and my Daughter and I are busy writing “Thank You” notes. Usually I like flat note cards for Thank You’s. But my Daughter just turned 4 and is learning to write her name, so I thought these Fill-In Thank You notes would be fun to do this time around.
15 cards, 3 play breaks, and two different colors of color pencils but they are all done!   These were such a snap! You’ll be seeing these Fill-in Thank You notes on Bailey Bea soon. They are from Sugar Card Cookies and perfect for bounce house parties.
Sitting down at my desk after a long summer I find myself reaching for these lovely sticky notes all morning long. I use them all day long from organization to “I love you” notes in the kids lunchboxes. This lovely custom Personalized Sticky Note Cube on my desk is from Clairebella. I added Clairebella to the store this summer. I adore all of their products and there are several of them I use daily. The personalized sticky note cubes come personalized with 700 paper sticky notes in a 3.5 ” square paper cube.   On my desk it adds a bit of style, color and convenience. At $32 it makes a great gift and accessory on any counter or desktop.
Here’s a slide show of several Clairebella custom personalized products available at Bailey Bea Designs:
Where do I begin? It’s been a busy day but I am feeling great about the summer and Bailey Bea’s new products. So here’s a bit of an update.
Twitter – Bailey Bea is now on Twitter… so go follow me for the latest Tweets and I promise not to put too many boring posts… only exciting stuff from me… So look up Baileybea on Twitter.
Weddings – While I currently do not carry too many lines for weddings I do have a lot of fun, classic, stylish, beautiful Bridal Shower things coming up that I am sure many a bridesmaid, brides mom, grooms mom, and friend would love to use a bridal shower.
Whitney English – lots of new stuff from Whitney English is coming but… it was easier for us to remove most of the Whitney English items and load a few new items each day for the next two-three weeks. So don’t worry… Whitney English will be back soon will lots of NEW products to choose from.
Speaking of NEW… We loaded a ton of New Products from In Good Company in the last week. Right now we are busy updating all those things that take online retailers a long time… like search engine optimization tags. So everyday will bring new In Good Company invitations, stickers, enclosure cards, note pads, oh and this nifty 2010 Calendar, which is BTW going to be the Holiday Gift for my neighbors. So neighbors when you get this fun 2010 Calendar at your door, be surprised. WINK WINK!
Having personalized note cards is such a wonderful thing to give yourself or someone you love.   My lovely friend asked me about personalized note cards last week.  So often the price of having personalized fine stationery seems out of reach, but these days with digital printing and affordable laser printers designers can make a personalized set of note cards affordable.   Look at these lovely cards by Sweet Mady’s Designs. Beautiful and affordable at $23 for a set of 12 cards.  This card set is called “Refreshing Batik.”   You can also find it here – Refreshing Batik
I met with several of exciting companies at the National Stationery Show and it was really hard to trim it down to a few new companies to add to Bailey Bea.  I am still meeting with a few companies so stay tuned there is more to come! But until then here’s one new company I added:
PAPER AND INK DESIGNS
I really enjoyed meeting with Paper and Ink because everything was so fresh and fun. I loved the personalized canvas prints, gorgeous digital photo cards, fantastic coasters, the monogrammed wall decals, the beautiful paperweights, and super cute lunch boxes.   I think the whole line is beautiful and stylish and I am sure you will think so too! Tracy Goodwin is the designer and owner behind Paper and Ink. I appreciate her because she just hung out with me for a bit on the floor where I could put my bags down that were hurting my back while I filled out my paperwork.  She was so sweet and easy to work with and we both talked about being Moms in this biz. Ahh always good to find other Moms I believe in.  I look forward to doing business with her. Here’s some pics:
It’s Saturday night and even though I got back from the National Stationery Show on Tuesday night, I still feel like I am recovering. My feet still ache a little bit from all the walking and best of all I am still on a creative energy-high from the show. I have so much to write about but let’s just start at the beginning.
There’s nothing like starting the show with a bang and that’s what I did. I signed up for the Tips and Trends Seminar with Sarah Schwartz, Editor of Stationery Trends Magazine. It was an excellent seminar that really reviewed the latest trends and companies at the show. And best of all it helped give me an idea of what consumers are looking for in a Stationery Store.  I quickly made a list of companies highlighted in the show that I focus on.  And then there were those companies you love from the very start. Like…
Petra Boase
I got to NYC a bit early to help one of my vendors and friends set up her booth. I remember walking around looking for the flooring guys and I walked by Petra Boase’s booth. I quickly stopped.. turned back and just looked for about 2 minutes. I loved everything I saw.. the sock monkey wrapping paper, the fabulous tees and onesizes, the adorable cards that are so different from those in the US. I had to come back! Then turns out we met minutes later by pure fate. Petra walked into my friends booth told us the missing pkgs for the booth were in her booth.    I went back and talked to her about her line and was lucky enough to buy all the tees and onesizes she brought with her on the plane for the show.
As for Petra.. She’s fabulous.  I adore her. I could be her BFF easily.  We both sew, are super creative, have kids, love all things handmade, and I love her style.   I thought her name sounded familiar and sure enough it’s the same Petra Boase from Alicia Paulson’s blog.  I told Petra about Tinsel Trading just 6 blocks from Javitts. I hope she made it there to check out all the vintage item, ribbons, and flowers.
Today I showed a few friends my bags of treasure.  The fun fresh designs were standouts and so was the high quality of her products. Trust me…. American t-shirts are not this thick or soft.   I will be posting them for sale next week with the option to monogram them with your child’s name below the picture. Not all the shirts I currently have are photographed below. Be the first to buy Petra Boase T-shirts in the US and be a trendsetter! Come on! You know you want one.
We are so excited to announce that Lilly Pulitzer Paper is coming to Bailey Bea Designs. Her new line of fine paper is gorgeous!  We are working very hard on uploading all these new products and we hope to have them all up in less than 2 weeks. Something to look forward to at Bailey Bea!
